Frequently Asked Questions

Do Superior Maids bring their own cleaning supplies, or will I need to provide them?

Our cleaning crews will arrive equipped with our own green cleaning supplies and all other necessary cleaning equipment. If you prefer us to use your own cleaning supplies or equipment, we will be glad to do so, just let us know while booking an appointment. You also have an option to choose regular cleaning supplies instead of green cleaning supplies.

Will the same cleaning lady/crew be cleaning my home each time I have service?

If you have a regularly-scheduled service, we will send the same cleaning lady or crew. If for some reason we will need to send a different person or crew, our office will notify you about the change.

How do I reschedule or cancel my cleaning appointment?

Contact our office at 647-885-6665 at least 24 hours in advance of the cleaning appointment. If you call after our regular business hours, please leave us a message on the answering machine or email us at info@superiormaids.ca.

If you fail to notify Superior Maids in 24 hours of your booked cleaning, a charge of 30% of the cleaning price will be applied. If our cleaning crew is unable to enter your property to provide cleaning service, a lockout charge of 50% of the cleaning price will be applied.

 

Why is there a one-hour window for the Superior Maids to arrive?


Most of the time, our cleaning crews are on time but the one-hour window is to cover any unforeseen situations such as, traffic delay due to accidents/construction or bad weather conditions. In the event of such a delay, our office or cleaning crew will contact you directly.

What type of payment do you accept?

You may pay with cash or check. Payment in full is required at the time of cleaning service.

How will Superior Maids access my home if I am not there?

You may provide our office with the house/office key which will be secured in a lockbox until your next cleaning. If you want to make other arrangements, please call our office.

What if I forget to leave a payment?

Payment in full is required at the time of service.


I never had professional cleaning service before, how do I prepare my home for the cleaning?

Our cleaning crews are ready to clean your home/office as soon as they arrive, therefore we would appreciate if you can downsize all the clutter. Please remove all the toys, clothes, bottles, and paper from the floor/beds, and organize your papers/mail into one pile or place it in a drawer.
